Do You Use Your Calendar Effectively?
I always try to come to the office a half hour earlier than others so I can assess my inbox, review my calendar and prepare myself for a successful day at work. However, sometimes my calendar is so crammed I don’t have any time scheduled to “get stuff done.”
Moving forward I am going to make it a point to schedule time on my calendar for responding to e-mail, following up on projects and keeping up with the day-to-day responsibilities so I don’t become overwhelmed by the “whirlwind” that we encounter so often.
What are some tips and tricks that you use with your calendar to make sure you have an effective week at work?
